In pasture, located on a low rise. This enclosure is shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map as an oval ringfort-like embanked enclosure (c. 30m N-S; 20-25m E−W), slightly truncated on its E edge by a N−S road; on the 1922 edition an arc of hachuring (c. 40m N−S), curving SW−NW, is shown.
This enclosure has been levelled. At the location there is a slightly raised subrectangular area (c. 40m N−S; c. 20m E-W) of rough ground, disturbed in appearance and stony underfoot, bordered at E by a N−S road, at N by an E−W field fence, and at S and W by a broad, poorly defined slope.
There is a rath (MA040-024----) 250m to SSE.
