In pasture, on a slight rise in undulating terrain.
Slightly raised circular area (c. 25m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.4m; int. H 0.85m at S; ext. H 0.9m at S, 1.4m at NNE). The bank is largely reduced to a scarp, with a low internal rim, in parts at W and E. There are two eroded breaks in the bank at WSW (Wth 1m) and at W (Wth 1.4m).
The perimeter is ringed with hawthorn and blackthorn, and a dense thicket of blackthorn and brambles covers much of the interior. There is a possible rath (MA040-007) 115m to S.
