In pasture, on a slight rise with a gentle slope down to NW. There is a ruined vernacular farmstead lies 15m to S. A roughly circular embanked enclosure (diam. 7-10m) is shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch; it is not shown on later map editions. There is no visible trace at ground level.
