What is recorded here

A skeleton was uncovered in 1935 at this location in Drumrevagh townland when foundations were being laid for the construction of a house (NMI files /SMR file). It was reported in the Irish Independent (9th Nov. 1935) that 'The skeleton, enclosed in a box, now lies at the Garda barracks, Foxford, where daily hundreds of people come to view it.’.
