What is recorded here

In pasture, located on a low rise. This possible rath is shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map as a large oval embanked enclosure; on the 1930 edition it is shown as penannular area (c. 50m−S; c. 45m E−W), with a large break in the bank at E–S, and an E–W field boundary truncating the outer edge of the bank at S. It has been levelled; there is no visible trace at ground level. Compiled by: Jane O’Shaughnessy Date of upload: 1 April 2020

This remains an important historical record, but the official description says the monument is no longer visible or has been destroyed.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
