What is recorded here

In improved pasture, located on top of a N–S ridge, close to its S end, overlooking an expanse of boggy ground. The ridge slope falls away steeply to W. There is a more gradual slope to E. Shown as a subcircular enclosure (diam. 25-30m) on the 1838 and 1930 OS 6-inch maps, this possible rath has been levelled; there is no visible trace at ground level.
