What is recorded here

In pasture, located on a rise or low ridge, with a fall of ground to SE. This enclosure, probably originally circular (diam. c. 20m) is not shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map, but is depicted on the 1930 edition as a semicircular hachured area, curving NW–SE, incorporated into a curving field boundary at S. It has been levelled. There is no visible trace at ground level, except at S where a field boundary (W 1.4-1.8m; H 1.2m) respects the original curve of the S arc of the enclosure.
