Located in damp, rough pasture, on the E bank of the Fiddaunglass stream, a tributary of the River Deel. Compact, moss-covered, kidney-shaped mound (14m N-S; 8m E-W; H 0.7m) with an indentation, probably indicating the position of the trough, on the WSW side, facing the stream. The mound is highest at N and W, with a shallower slope to E. A few gorse bushes grow on the mound. One in a linear cluster of fulachtaí fia/burnt mounds (MA038-203--- to MA038-208----) located along the course of the stream. A fulacht fia (MA038-204----) lies 20m to N.
