In an expanse of flat, damp pasture bordering the N bank of the Fiddaunglass stream.
A low, roughly circular rise (Diam. c. 6-8m; H 0.3-0.4m) thickly covered with heather and moss and with furrow like grooves traversing it on a N-S axis. Beneath a layer of dark, peaty soil the mound appears to be composed of shattered sandstone. One of a linear cluster of fulachtai fia/burnt mounds located along the course of the stream, one (MA038-188----) of which lies 20m to SW.
