In pasture, at base of the NE-facing slope of a low knoll. A NW-SE field drain bordering a road lies immediately to NE.
This burnt mound is evident as a roughly oval, grass-covered mound (10m NW-SE; c. 6.5m NE-SW; H 0.5m at NE). It is composed of stone fragments in black soil. The surface of the mound is traversed by relict cultivation furrows on a NE-SW axis.
