What is recorded here

In undulating pasture, located on top of a ridge providing good views to N. This possible rath has been largely levelled. The outline of a broadly oval area (c. 45-50m E–W; c. 50-55m) can still be traced, bisected S of centre by a property fence on a roughly E–W axis. To S of the fence, an arc of enclosing bank (Wth 2.75m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.8m), with rough stone facing, survives SE–S, reduced S-SW to a stony scarp (ext. H 1m); to N of the property fence, the curve of the enclosure at WSW–ESE is defined only by an ephemeral, semi-circular undulation representing a levelled bank. There are raths (MA038-037----; MA038-038----; MA038-040----) 100m to N, 150m to WSW, and 60m to SW respectively, and a mound (MA038-147----) 120m to ESE.
