In pasture, located on top of a ridge with commanding views of the surrounding countryside, especially towards a river located 270m to SE. There is a farmyard immediately to W.
This possible rath is shown on the 1837-8 and 1922 OS 6-inch maps as a roughly circular ringfort-sized enclosure (diam. c. 25m), incorporated into or truncated by field boundaries at S−NNE. It has been levelled; the ephemeral outline of a slightly raised area (diam. c. 16m) is still evident. According to local information, it was known as a ‘fort’.
