In pasture, located on top of a low knoll, straddling the break of slope on the S side, with good views in all directions.
Circular area (14.5m WNW–ESE; 12.4m NNE–SSW) defined by low remnants of an earthen bank/scarp. The bank (Wth c. 2m; int. H 0.35m; ext. H 0.45m, at WNW), which incorporates some stone, survives only in discrete sections at WNW–N, and elsewhere is reduced to a scarp (0.7m at NE, 1.3m at SW). The interior slopes from centre down to S–SW. There is a small heap (max. dim. c. 1.5m) of sod-covered stone in the interior to SE of centre, and a similar heap of stones on top of the scarp at E.
