Located 4m N of a burial mound (MA008-002001-) exposed beneath a field fence in the E-facing land-edge section bordering the W side of Lackan Strand.
A concentration (D 0.2m; L c.4m) of limpet shells, intermixed with occasional charcoal fragments and small-medium sized, stones, some of which appear heat shattered, is visible in section within a layer (D 0.5m) of grey-dark brown sand. It occurs at a depth of c. 1m below the field surface level, and is c. 0.6m above the current level of the cobbles and boulders that cover the beach.
