In wet pasture 155m W of the Tooraleagan River that marks the townland boundary with Labbamolaga and the County boundary with Cork. Annotated ‘Gortnaderk Fort’ on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map where it is shown as a circular enclosure. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a roughly circular-shaped area (diam. c. 30m) defined by a scarp from SE-SW and NW-N and by a field boundary elsewhere. Truncated at E and W by field boundaries running NW-SE. Visible as a roughly circular shaped area defined by bushes on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
