In level pasture. Roughly circular area (46.4m NW-SE) enclosed by two concentric earthen banks with intervening fosse (Wth 3.05m) and external fosse (D 0.35m; Wth 2.2m) NE->NW, and enclosed NW->NE by a field boundary on straighter arc than enclosing element which it replaces. Both inner bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.2m) and outer bank (int. H 0.9m; ext. H 0.7m) are masked by dense overgrowth of briars and bushes and much denuded in places by cattle accessing interior. Level interior is under pasture. There is a small rise just SW of centre (3m N-S; 2.9m E-W; H c. 0.2m). Farm trackway skirts enclosure on W side; complex of farm buildings lie short distance to N. Field boundary which abutted enclosure at SSW has been removed.
