In marshy pasture, on the E bank of the Killilagh River. A circular area (35.2m N-S; 36m E-W) enclosed NNE->S by an earthen bank (int. H 0.8m; ext. H 1.5m) with an external fosse (D 0.5m; Wth 2.8m), and enclosed S->NW by a field boundary travelling firstly on an E-W axis and then turning at an angle to run SE-NW to the river's edge. The enclosing bank is masked by a dense overgrowth of briars and bushes. The fosse is abutted by a field boundary at ENE. The interior is under rough pasture but with clusters of briars along its perimeter.
