The precise location of a prehistoric flat-cemetery discovered in 1682 in the townland of Duntryleague has not been identified. Waddell (1990, 108) recorded that; ‘A small, ill-recorded flat cemetery was discovered in 1682 and seems to have comprised at least two cist graves and perhaps fifteen urn burials.’

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
