On a rise, in wet pasture, 60m E of a stream that marks the townland boundary with Killeen. Ringfort (LI049-177----) lies 170m to NW. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a circular enclosure planted with trees. Shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a raised circular-shaped area (diam. c. 16m) defined by a scarp. Monument is visible as a circular-shaped area delimited by trees on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
