In pasture, 60m S of townland boundary with Bohereenkyle and 165m SE of townland boundary with Ballynalacken and 166m E of townland boundary with Aghgurra. An enclosure (LI049-174002-) lies to the immediate E. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a raised circular-shaped area defined by a scarp with conjoined enclosure or annexe (LI049-174002-) to the E. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a raised sub-circular shaped area (dims. c. 33m N-S; 24m E-W) defined by a scarp. Monument visible as a D-shaped area enclosed by a low bank from SE-S-W-N-NE with fosse on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages. The monument is intersected at SW by a field drain running N-S on Google Earth orthoimage dated 20/03/2018. See attached Google Earth orthoimages.
