In pasture, 45m S of townland boundary with Kilgreana, an enclosure (LI049-143----) lies 125m to the NW. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a sunken circular-shaped area enclosed by a bank, intersected at SW by a post-1700 field boundary running E-W. Shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a raised D-shaped area (dims. c. 23m NW-SE; 30m NE-SW) defined by a scarp from SW-W-N-E, intersected at S by a post-1700 field boundary running E-W. Monument visible as a circular area overgrown with trees on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
