In pasture, 110m NE of townland boundary with Knockaunacurragha, a possible earthwork (LI049-146----) lies 45m to the NW. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a raised oval-shaped area defined by a scarp. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a raised oval-shaped area (dims. c. 27m NW-SE; 26m NE-SW) defined by a scarp, intersected at SE by a post-1700 field boundary running NE-SW. No surface remains visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13. Monument visible as a circular cropmark with possible external bank from NW-N-NE on Google Earth orthoimage dated 18/11/2018. A linear feature running NW-SE intersects the monument at N.
