In reclaimed pasture, an enclosure (LI049-275----) and a hillfort (LI049-098----) lie 80m and 220m to the NW respectively. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as an oval-shaped area enclosed by a bank. Shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a raised sub-circular shaped area (dims. c. 26m N-S; 31m E-W) defined by a scarp, with fosse from SE-S-W-N-NE, from N-NE incorporated into a post-1700 field boundary running NW-SE. Intersected at SW by a post-1700 field boundary running NE-SW. Tree-covered earthwork visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
