In modern coniferous forest plantation, 210m S of Barranahown River that forms townland boundary with Moorestown. The most S of three standing stones (LI048-065002/004-) located in S quadrant of earthwork (LI048-065001-). Not depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map. Annotated ‘Pillar Stones’ on the Cassini ed. OSi 6-inch map. No surface remains visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13. Stones visible on Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018 may represent one of the 'Pillar Stones' annotated on Cassini ed. OSi 6-inch map (Grogan 1989, 270). See attached Google Earth orthoimage.
