The precise location of David Miagh’s Castle on John’s St has not been identified. Described in the Urban Survey (Bradley et. al. 1989, 152) as following; 'A three-floored building on the east of the street with two rooms on both the ground and first floors, and one room on the third. The town wall bounded the end of the garden'.
