In level pasture 200m W of the Bunoke River and 80m NE of the townland boundary with Gorteen. Depicted as a circular-shaped area enclosed by a bank on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. Shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a circular-shaped area (diam. c. 31m) enclosed by a bank with a post 1700 field boundary enclosing it from S-W-NW and from SE-E-S. Evidence of quarrying activity at N and in centre of the monument. Outline of monument delimited by trees with a possible entrance gap at S is clearly visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
