On edge of farmyard with pasture field to NW. Circular area (diam. 45m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.55m) with external fosse. Fosse re-cut as field drain S->N and excavated material piled up on external face of bank. Fosse infilled N->S where site bounded by farm trackway and yard. Interior of site is level and covered by mature trees; it contains a chicken coop and dog kennel.
