In reclaimed pasture, 95m W of a watercourse that marks the townland boundary with Ballywire and the County boundary with Tipperary. Possible barrow (LI041-065----) lies 15m to SE. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Possible barrow identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 18.01; AP 5/2133). Faint trace of circular-shaped cropmark visible to S of a field drain running NE-SW on Google Earth orthoimages.
