In pasture, on the demesne lands associated with Ryves Casle (LI041-021----), located 460m to E. A possible tree-ring (LI041-018----) lies 130m to SE. Depicted as a tree-pantation on 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. Shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as an area of planted trees. Monument visible as a roughly circular-shaped earthwork (diam. c. 10m) on Google Earth orthoimages. Not depicted as an antiquity on any ed. OSi historic maps. Possible earthwork reused as a landscape feature of post-1700 date on the demesne lands of Ryves Castle.
