In pasture, 60m E of townland boundary with Mitchelstowndown North. A ringfort (LI041-013011-) and barrow (LI041-013008-) lie 60m and 45m respectively to the NE. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Described by Westropp (1917-19, 67) as ‘120 yards [110m] from the fort [LI041-013011--], is a large stone over 4 feet [1.2m] long, 3 feet high [0.9m], and 3 feet 6 inches thick [1m].’ No surface remains visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 or on Google Earth orthoimages.
