Conjoined earthworks (LI041-060----) described in 1942-3 as following; 'The more westerly of the two structures is shown on the map, but as the other is not at all obvious, it was apparently missed by the surveyors. The western monument consists of a circular platform of earth around which there is a fosse. The surface of the platform is quite flat and level. It is about 4' [1.2m]over the field level. The overall diameter is 154' [47m]. The eastern structure (LI041-060----) is exactly similar but has a maximum height of only 1' 6" [0.46m] over the field. The monuments are situated in low land' (O'Kelly 1942-3, 242). Outline of upstanding monument clearly visible today on Digital Globe aerial photographs.
