In wet pasture on the floodplains of the Camoge River that forms townland boundary with Rathanny. One of a group of five possible ditch-barrows (LI040-270001/003/005-). An inland promontory fort (LI040-271001-) lies 15m to the W. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 138.02, AP 5/2101) as a circular cropmark of possible barrow. Faint trace of monument visible as a circular cropmark (diam. c. 5m) on OSi orthophotograph taken between 2005-12 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
