In reclaimed pasture, 15m N of townland boundary with Ballybeg. A large enclosure (LI040-212005-) and a cluster of barrows (LI040-212001-/003-), lie 165m to the NW. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Identified as a circular cropmark by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 74; AP 5/2109). Monument visible as a circular cropmark (diam. c. 6m) intersected at SE and E by a linear cropmark running N-S on OSi orthophotograph taken between 2005-12. Monument clearly visible on Google Earth orthoimages dated 16/03/2016 and 01/04/2021.
