In reclaimed pasture 125m NW of Gormanstown Castle (LI040-066003-). Enclosure (LI040-066004-) lies to immediate NE. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified on Bord Gáis Éireann aerial photographs taken 03/11/1984 (1:5,000 No. 2556) as a possible earthwork. Outline of monument is visible as a roughly circular-shaped cropmark (diam. c. 22m) on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 where it is intersected at NE by drainage channel running NW-SE. Visible as faint cropmark on Digital Globe orthophoto taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimage dated 14/09/2019. See attached Google Earth orthoimages.
