In reclaimed pasture, 100m S of townland boundary with Tankardstown and 120m SW of townland boundary with Ballincolloo. Located to the W of a group of barrows (LI040-061003/016-) and 30m SW of an enclosure (LI040-061003-). Not marked on OSi historic maps. Possible site (Site No. 040232) identified during examination of aerial photographs (BGE 1/50000 2553) taken 03/11/1984 on the Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline. No surface remains visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12. Monument visible as small circular cropmark on Google Earth orthoimage dated 28/06/2018.
