In pasture, intersected at W by public road, 150m N of barrow (LI040-050003-). Not marked on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. Depicted as a circular platform defined by a scarp on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map. Described by O’Kelly (1942, 52) as a 'Type B earthwork' consisting of; ‘A circular platform on the edge of which there is a bank. it is surrounded by a fosse. The max. height of the platform over the fosse bottom is 5' [1.5m] and the overall diameter is 70' [21m]. The entrance is not recognisable'. Monument visible as circular-shaped area enclosed by tree-covered bank with external fosse on OSi orthophotograph taken between 2005-12 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
