In reclaimed pasture, in E quadrant of a group of barrows (LI040-048001-/048004-; 048006-). Not marked on OSi historic maps. Possible site identified as a circular cropmark during examination of aerial photographs (BGE 1/50000, 2549) taken 03/11/1984 on the Bórd Gáis Éireann gas pipeline. Monument visible as small circular cropmark on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 and on Google Earth orthoimages. Area of wet ground visible in area of earthwork which may be the remains of a small hollow or pond feature. Doubtful antiquity, could be the remains of a natural feature.
See attached aerial photographs from Bórd Gáis Éireann gas pipeline (No. 040259) and Google Earth orthoimages.
