In reclaimed pasture 70m N of townland boundary with Tankardstown North. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a raised circular-shaped area. Shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a circular-shaped area (diam. c. 25m) defined by a scarp with drainage ditch from S-W-N-NE. The outline of monument is visible as a circular-shaped area delimited by trees on aerial photograph (ASIAP (345) 1) take. Google Earth orthoimage dated 20/09/2020 shows a tree lined circular-shaped area with a gap at E.
