Atop low rise in low-lying gently undulating pasture. Circular area (45m N-S; 46m E-W) enclosed by two concentric earthen banks with intervening fosse (Wth 1.7m), and with slight trace of external fosse (D c. 0.1m; Wth 1.8m) ENE->E and NW. Inner bank (int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1.6m), best preserved at WNW, worn down to scarp-like edge N->SSW. Outer bank (int. H 1.6m; ext. H 1.9m), best preserved along SW arc, is much denuded at NNW, NE and SSE; break in bank at NE (Wth 3m) matched by denuded section of inner bank. Interior under pasture with gradual dip down into E quadrant and slight dip towards centre. Bushes and briars mask enclosing banks along SW arc.
