In rough pasture, on steep SE-facing slope immediately below brow of hill. Roughly circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by earthen bank with external fosse (D 1.15m; Wth 1.6m), both heavily masked by overgrowth. Bank (int. H 0.7m; ext. H 0.8m), best preserved along SW arc, becomes scarp-like E->SE. Break in bank (Wth 3.4m) at E. Fosse, littered with loose stone, is best preserved NW->NE where it is clear from overgrowth. Interior, under rough pasture, slopes down to SE but levels-off in SE quadrant. Earth-and-stone field boundary (ext. H 0.7m) skirts along outer edge of fosse NE->NW; enclosing bank abutted by similar boundaries at NE, S and NW respectively.
