In poorly drained rough grassland, 90m E of townland boundary with Ballyhahill, a ringfort (LI037-114----) lies 55m to the SSW. Not depicted on historic OSi maps. Monument visible as circular enclosure on ASI aerial photographs taken 18/09/2005. Monument visible as a circular-shaped area (diam. c. 20m) defined by a scarp with fosse, bank and external fosse on OSi orthophotograph taken between 2005-12 and on Google Earth orthoimages. An external bank from E-S-W is visible on Google Earth orthoimage dated 24/09/2018.
