In pasture; c. 30m SE of early ecclesiastical enclosure (LI037-025003-). Spring well now contained within circular concrete tank, with concrete footpath surrounding it. Circular area (diam. 6.4m) around this is enclosed by concrete-block wall. Entrance via gate to S; just inside gate is shrine with modern near-life-size statue of St Patrick. Well visited on 17th March, and 'celebrated for curing blindness' (Ó Danachair (1955, 204); legend associates it with Leacht Phadraig, located c. 1,000m to NW (LI037-023---). Site of two further holy wells c. 100m to W (LI037-025004- & 005-).
