In pasture, on S-facing slope. Oval area (51m NW-SE; 40m SW-NE) enclosed by an earthen bank (int. H 0.25m; ext. H 0.85m), with an external fosse (D 0.3m; Wth 1.4m) N->E. Bank is covered by dense overgrowth but gap (Wth 2m) apparent at ESE, and stone facing on external face of bank evident at ENE. Composition of enclosing element appears to be identical to surrounding field boundaries which abut bank at N, W, SW and SE. There are rock outcrops in SE quadrant of interior, and amongst these are two slabs (L 1.30m) laid on edge and parallel (0.6m apart) to each other which appear to be deliberate set in this position. Interior under rough pasture. Enclosure is shown covered by trees on 1841 OS 6-inch map.
