What is recorded here

In pasture, on break in W-facing slope. Roughly circular area (34.5m N-S; 35.9m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.35m; ext. H 2.6m) with external fosse (D 1.2m; Wth 1.4m). Break in bank (Wth 2m) at ESE. Interior is level and under pasture. Field boundary, on NE-SW axis, skirts site NE->SW. Compiled by: Denis Power Date of upload: 26 August 2011
