In a conifer plantation on S-facing slope, 47m N of townland boundary with Glendarragh, an enclosure (LI035-014----) lies 385m to SE. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as circular shaped area enclosed by a bank, intersected from SE-S by a laneway running NE-SW. Shown on the 1897 ed. Osi 25-inch map as a horseshoe-shaped area (dims. c. 14m N-S; 9m E-W) enclosed by a bank open at SE. The site was inaccessible when visited by the ASI in 1997. Area overgrown with scrub vegetation on OSi orthophotograph taken between 2005-12 and on Google Earth orthoimage.
