In improved pasture 200m W of a watercourse that marks the townland boundary with Knockaundoolis. One of eight possible barrows (LI033-115001/008-) concentrated in a large field (125m N-S; 175m E-W) in the W of the townland. Not depicted on historic OSi maps. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 122.02; AP 5/2028) as a ring-barrow. Visible as a circular-shaped cropmark on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12. Not visible on Google Earth orthoimages.
