What is recorded here

In reclaimed pasture 35m W of stream and 200m S of Ballyneety House. One of three adjacent monuments aligned on a NW-SE axis. Enclosure (LI033-039002-) to immediate SW and enclosure (LI033-104----) 45m to SW. Not depicted on 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. Depicted on OSi 25-inch map as a roughly circular-shaped platform (dims. c. 27m NW-SE, 23m NE-SW) enclosed by a bank with a well depicted 10m to E. Surveyed by the ASI in 2007 and described as a raised circular-shaped area (diam. 17m) enclosed by a bank (Wth 8.2m; H 0.3m; ext. H 0.7m) from NNE-SE reduced to a scarp (Wth 1.5m; H 0.6m) elsewhere, with fosse (Wth 8.8m; D 0.35m) best preserved from NE-NW and outer bank (Wth 6m; int. H 0.35m; ext. H 0.15m). Breaches (Wth 3.5m; 12m) at SE and SW. The fosse and outer bank are truncated at NE by drain running E-W. Visible as the furthest N of three adjoining earthworks on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 and on Google Earth orthoimage dated 18/11/2018.
