Described by O'Kelly (1944, 16) as following; 'This monument is a circular platform surrounded by a fosse. The platform has been damaged by the building of a fence on the N. side. and the S. side has been partially levelled to facilitate tillage of the platform itself. The maximum height of the platform is 2" [0.05m] over the field level. Overall diameter 150' [45.7m]'.
