In improved wet pasture, liable to floods and 20m NW of the Ballynamona River which also marks a townland boundary with Ballinlough. Ring-barrow (LI032-307---) immediately to SE. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Possible enclosure visible as a circular-shaped area (diam. c. 36m) defined by a ditch on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012. Outline of monument visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-13.
