In rough wet pasture, 135m E of a watercourse which also marks a townland boundary with Ballynamona. Ditch-barrow (LI032-271002-) lies 55m to N and enclosure (LI32-271001-) lies 115m to NW. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Monument identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 236: AP 5/2018) as a rectangular-shaped earthwork. Upstanding monument is visible as a rectangular-shaped earthwork (27m N-S; 17m E-W) defined by a fosse, as best seen on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012, although is not clearly visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 or on Google Earth orthoimage 20/09/2020.
